Stella Maeve is an American actress who is best known for her outstanding portrayal of of Julia Wicker in the TV series The Magicians . Maeve, who is Native American and originally from New York, was born within the state. She's a mix of Blackfoot as well as Cherokee. She first appeared on the big screen with Liminality (2005 the short-film). Transamerica, a critically acclaimed film comedy-drama from that same year, marked her first big screen appearance.
